Interfaith coalition unveils public school Bible course

WTF???

The U.S. Supreme Court's 1963 decision barring schoolroom Bible recitations said that "the Bible is worthy of study for its literary and historic qualities" if "presented objectively as part of a secular program of education."

Ok, I can respect that, but, if you are going to teach one, you need to teach all religions. If you use the book in a PUBLIC school, you need to use it in a class that teaches properly. NOT a bible class. If they were to start a 'world religions' class of some sort - MAYBE that could be considered. But, having a bible based class in PUBLIC schools is NOT ok.
